World Oral Health Day’s theme for this year is A happy mouth is a happy body. This theme is about empowering people to value and take care of oral hygiene, as oral hygiene is the most important part of our daily lives, if not taken care then it will increase the chances of getting gum diseases, toothache, bleeding from the mouth, and bad breath. This can impact the overall well-being too, bad breath is not pleasing for you as well as for the person you are talking to. Make sure this Oral Health Day you start prioritising your oral health.

World Oral Health Day History

On 12th September 2007 was the first time Oral Health Day was celebrated since it was the birth date of Dr. Charles Godon the founder of the World Dental Federation (FDI). Then in 2013, the date was moved from 12th September to 20th March and has remained the same ever since.
