Soon after the post, Chalamet and Sandler’s fans started reacting to the clip. One fan said, “Welcome to New York! This is how it is here. Very normal. The only people who fawn over actors are the tourists!” Another one said, “One of the only cities in the world where you can have random interactions with celebrities on the street.”

For those who are unaware, Timothee and Adam shared screen time in the 2014 Jason Reitman-directed comedy Men, Women & Children. The film revolves around a group of high school teenagers and their parents trying to navigate the effects of the Internet on their personal lives. For a long time, both actors have talked about their mutual fondness for one another. While accepting an award at the 2022 Gotham Awards, Sandler mentioned Timothee in a speech written by his daughters Sadie and Sunny.

The actor mentioned, “We also wish we could be at tonight’s award show with all of you sophisticated people, but Daddy said, and we quote, ‘I don’t want to spend a whole night that’s supposed to be about me and my greatness listening to you two newly pubetized buffoons screaming, ‘Where is Timothée Chalamet and how can we legally squeeze that fine little Jewish ass of his?’”

On the work front, Timothee is known for his role in Luca Guadagnino’s coming-of-age film Call Me By Your Name. He was most recently seen in Wonka and Dune 2. The American-French actor is now gearing up for the release of A Complete Unknown. On the other hand, Sandler was last seen in Spaceman and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
