After Numerous Picture Leaks, Daredevil: Born Again Team Tightens Set Security
After numerous pictures from Daredevil: Born Again went viral from the set, makers have now tightened security around the filming locations.

The excitement around the Daredevil: Born Again is reaching new heights. After making an appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home, She-Hulk and Echo, fans are looking forward to watching the series. Ahead of the release, leaked images of Charlie Cox, portraying the iconic character Matt Murdoch, are all over the internet. In recent weeks, various fan pages have treated their followers with many BTS glimpses from the set, featuring Matt’s new superhero suit, his newfound love interest and the return of beloved characters Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, played by Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson, respectively. However, as the buzz intensified and numerous pictures went viral from the set, the makers have now tightened the security around the filming locations.

To maintain secrecy surrounding the highly anticipated Marvel series, the production team has taken extra precautions to keep details under wraps. Recent photos from the set show the crew members hanging black banners or sheets to prevent onlookers from peeping into the sets or streets where filming is taking place. While the plot details of Born Again are not known, reports suggest that the upcoming show will be exploring Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) campaign to become the mayor of New York City.

Apart from minor leaks, it was earlier reported that Daredevil: Born Again will introduce a new love interest for Matt Murdoch. A leaked image showed Heather Glenn, played by Margarita Leiviva, locking lips with Charlie Cox’s character. In the comics, Glenn had a tragic life and blamed Matt for her father’s suicide and her company’s downfall. Despite the dark turn in the comics, the series makers can’t adapt such a dark storyline.

More reports from the Born Again set suggest that characters such as White Tiger, Muse and Bullseye are also expected to appear in the show. There are speculations about a scene involving Karen Page being killed, potentially by Bullseye, which, if true, could be a major spoiler for fans. Additionally, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher is also set to reprise his role for the Marvel show, even though the actor has not been spotted on set yet.

Earlier, Marvel Studios raised eyebrows, after they decided to change the creative team for Daredevil: Born Again as the earlier version of the show focused more on legal aspects of Matt Murdock and the hero wouldn’t suit up until episode 4. Now that the team has taken a completely new route, it is expected to be filled with action and violence. As of now, the makers haven’t shared any release date yet, but the show is expected to hit screens in 2025.
