Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Haldi Ceremony: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani on Monday hosted a star-studded Haldi ceremony for their son Anant Ambani’s upcoming nuptials with Radhika Merchant. Anant and Radhika are all set to tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12. Ahead of their wedding, a Haldi function was organised at Antilia.
Mukesh Ambani and son Akash Ambani were amongst the first people to get photographed at the ceremony. Akash was seen holding dad Mukesh’s hand as they arrived for a photo-op. The father-son duo looked handsome in ethnic wear. While Mukesh Ambani opted for a beige kurta pyjama, Akash donned a bright-red traditional outfit.
Radhika Merchant’s parents, Viren Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant were also clicked at the Haldi ceremony. They even struck a cute pose for the paps. Radhika’s father wore an all-white kurta pyjama, while her mother opted for a beautiful matching saree.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani danced to Shah Rukh Khan’s popular song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from Om Shanti Om along with their family at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony which took place in Mumbai last Friday.
Nita Ambani also gave a glimpse of her Bharatnatyam moves during the performance and drew the loudest cheers as she danced her heart out with the Ambani family. She stunned in a pink lehenga, while Mukesh Ambani looked handsome in a navy blue kurta pajama and matching jacket. Anant and Radhika looked made for each other as they grooved to the popular Bollywood track.
The main wedding ceremonies will start on July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
