Actress Alia Bhatt went into isolation despite testing negative for Covid-19 after boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was diagnosed with the virus. After a period of isolation, the actress has resumed work post consultation with doctors. Alia informed of the decision on social media.
“I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you for all your good wishes! I’m taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all,” she posted in her Instagram stories.
After Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor recently confirmed that the actor has tested positive for coronavirus and is on medication for the same, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had also tested positive for Covid-19 which worried many of Alia’s fans as she is working closely with both Sanjay and Ranbir for her two upcoming movies.
According to a report published in The Times of India, Ranbir had planned a birthday bash for his lady love on March 15. However, now that he has contracted the deadly virus, the celebrations will take place on a later date. Ranbir and Alia have also been working together for their upcoming movie titled Brahmastra.
