Interestingly, Dhanush was seen in the role of a cigarette smoking goon in the recently released 'Maari'.
New Delhi: In the 1980's Rajinikanth made quite a name for himself in the Indian film industry, courtesy his ability to flick cigarettes on the big screen with absolute ease. However, the superstar stopped smoking onscreen a few years ago, fearing that his actions would have a bad impact on the youth.
Former union health minister Anbumani Ramadoss recently referred to Rajinikanth's responsible behavior in a letter to actor Dhanush and urged him to stop glamourising smoking through his films. Interestingly, Dhanush was seen in the role of a cigarette smoking goon in the recently released 'Maari'.
