Anirudh Ravichander is one of the leading names in music currently in the Indian film industry. The composer has proved his impeccable skills in music production with blockbuster releases like Jawan and Jailer. Now, as per reports, legendary musician AR Rahman has hiked his fee, which is said to be a result of Anirudh’s high remuneration.
As a sought-after musician in the film industry, Anirudh Ravichander has given multiple hits in the past few years, across several languages, rising to the top of the game. If reports are to be believed, he charges Rs 10 to Rs 12 crore for his music in a project, depending on the scale of the film.
Now, going by reports, Anirudh’s impressive fee has led names like AR Rahman and MM Keeravani to increase their own fees. The former is reported to have charged an amount of Rs 10 crore for his work in RC 16, a Ram Charan starrer, which is being made under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana. Musician Devi Sri Prasad is now charging Rs 8 crore after the incredible success of Pushpa, the Allu Arjun starrer.
Anirudh Ravichander debuted as a musician in 2012, with the release of the track Why This Kolaveri D from the film 3. The song went on to become one of the biggest hits ever in Indian cinema, vocalised and written by Dhanush. He has since produced hit songs like Naa Ready, Hukum, Dippam Dippam, Chaleya and many more.
In 2024, he is credited with the production of the viral superhit Manasilaayo from Vettaiyan. The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel, who has co-written it with B Kiruthika. The cast includes an ensemble of Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and more. Subaskaran Allirajah has produced the film under the banner of Lyca Productions. The film was released on October 10, on the occasion of Dussehra.
