Arbaaz Khan and Sshura Khan got married in December 2023. The couple has been since then grabbing headlines. Well, recently the actor opened up about the age difference between him and his wife. In a conversation with The Indian Express, Arbaaz defended the big age gap saying that it has a far higher success rate.
The Indian Express quoted Arbaaz talking about their marriage and people trolled them for their huge age difference. “It’s not like we were not aware of it or we hid it from each other. As a girl, she knew what she was getting into, and as a man, I knew what I was getting into. Two people of the same age can be together and probably separate in a year. So, is age the only factor that keeps relationships going? Ask yourself. In fact, whenever you see there is a very big age gap between marriages, they have far higher success rate,” Arbaaz said.
In the same interview, Arbaaz also mentioned that he met his wife on the set of his production, Patna Shukla. “It was just a casual meeting, a professional meeting. Post that, when the movie got over, we met a couple of times,” he shared, adding that when they got married, they’d been dating secretly for almost two years. “Celebs tend to believe that their relationship should be known publicly, ours was under the wraps for almost a year,” he said.
The nikah took place at Arpita Khan’s home with Salman Khan and family attending it. Soon after the ceremony, Arbaaz took to social media and shared photos with his bride. In the photos, the actor was seen holding Sshura close as they posed for photos.
Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora. They were married for 19 years. The couple tied the knot in 1998 but announced their separation in March 2016 and officially got divorced in May 2017. They are share a son named Arhaan.
