Actress Avika Gor, renowned for her diverse roles in films like ‘Uyyala Jamapala’ and ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavadahas’, recently announced her next project ‘Bloody Ishq,’ marking her second collaboration with the Bhatts.
The movie, directed by Krishna Bhatt, has been written by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Vikram Bhatt.
Speaking about her character in the film, Avika shared, “This film is truly beautiful, and it’s great to have Vardhan Puri on board as well. As for my character, it provides a significant opportunity for me to showcase my acting skills. Similar to 1920, where I could give my all and do justice to the character, this role allows me to delve deep into my performance”.
Whenever the Bhatt’s work with their heroines, they continue to work with them for more projects and this is Avika’s second collaboration with them. When asked about the same Avika said, “Being part of Mahesh Ji and Vikram Ji’s film is a true blessing. They have a history of favourites, like Bipasha, and I feel fortunate to be in the same category. Every day on set feels like attending a film school, and I’m grateful to be part of their project for the second time. I aspire to collaborate on more projects with them because it’s an honor to work on a set where Vikram Ji and Mahesh Ji are deeply involved, treating each project as their own baby. The importance they give to actors goes beyond mere satisfaction; it’s about delving deeper into oneself, discovering capabilities, and honing acting skills. Each visit to the set is a learning experience, offering unexpected insights and alternative approaches to scenes. It’s like choosing the 11th or 15th option I hadn’t considered, surprising even myself. This collaborative process with a director is invaluable, and I take pride in working on these incredible scripts with amazing directors and characters”.
On the professional front, Avika has already commenced shooting for the project and is currently working on an incredible lineup of projects, which will be announced soon.
