Ayushmann Khurrana on Friday took a trip down memory lane as his critically acclaimed film Badhaai Ho has completed six years. The actor shared a special video highlighting special moments from the film. Released in 2018, Badhaai Ho revolves around the unconventional theme of late parenthood.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a video that shows emotional moments from the film. “Aaj agar waqt mile, toh apne parents ko gale zarur lagaana. Kuch rishtey sirf pyaar se samajh aate hain.#6YearsOfBadhaaiHo,” read the caption. Many called the film ‘beautiful’. One of the fans wrote, “The most closest movie to the heart this scene ” khana kha liya beta ” n after that a hug most heart warming scene.” Another wrote, “Khana Kha Liya Beta?” will always be one the most gladsome scenes in Hindi cinema this scene and the entire movie This will turn out to be one of the best classics! Badhaai Ho was a commercial success and winning several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film.
Ayushmann will be next seen in producer Karan Johar’s upcoming untitled film co-starring actress Sara Ali Khan. Directed by Aakash Kaushik, the film is touted to be an action-comedy. However, further details about the project are yet to be revealed. Reportedly, Ayushmann will be soon joining the Maddock Films’ Horror-comedy universe with the film Vampires of Vijay Nagar alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. An official announcement of the film is still awaited.
In a surprising turn of events, Ayushmann Khurrana has walked out of Meghna Gulzar’s film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Reportedly, he has moved out of the project due to date issues. Noted, the film is a crime thriller and is based on the Hyderabad rape case. Well, nothing has been made official but reports were coming in that the shoot was supposed to kickstart by the end of this year.
