Vicky Kaushal turned up at a jam-packed theatre in Mumbai during a late night show of Bad Newz.

Vicky Kaushal is going all out to promote his latest film, ‘Bad Newz.’ Recently, he made a surprise appearance at a late-night show in Mumbai, delighting the audience with his presence. The film which also stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles has witnessed a good box office opening after its release.

On Sunday, Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video from Saturday night, capturing his visit to a cinema hall screening his film “Bad Newz.” Dressed in a white kurta, Vicky expressed his gratitude to the audience who braved the heavy rain in Mumbai to attend the late-night show. As the viral end-credit song “Tauba Tauba” played on the big screen, Vicky joined the audience in singing along, while many fans captured the moment on their phones.

In the video, Vicky humorously acknowledges the late hour and suggests it’s time for him to leave. However, when fans request selfies, he playfully quips that he would stay until 4 AM to accommodate them. A heartfelt moment occurs when a senior audience member requests a photo, and Vicky graciously embraces him before posing for the picture. He captioned the post with his thoughts on the wonderful evening.

It read, “The city’s been put on alert due to rains and you guys still turn up and make it a HOUSEFULL show! Thank you for making this weekend a joyous one for the team of #BadNewz… we hope we have succeeded in doing the same for you. Only gratitude for all the love pouring in. Pyaar aapka sach mein #TaubaTauba hai. Love you all!”

“Bad Newz,” featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has made an impressive mark at the domestic box office, earning ₹19.17 crore within its first two days of release, according to the film’s makers on Sunday.

Launching in theaters across the country on Friday, the film is directed by Anand Tiwari, who gained recognition for his directorial debut with ‘Love Per Square Foot’ in 2018. ‘Bad Newz’ had a strong opening, garnering ₹8.62 crore on its first day, followed by a substantial increase to ₹10.55 crore on its second day, showcasing its growing popularity among audiences.

‘Bad Newz’ is touted to be a distinctive comedy film based on true events, delving into the intriguing concept of heteropaternal superfecundation— a reproductive phenomenon where twins share the same mother but have different biological fathers. In addition to its main cast, the film also stars Neha Dhupia in a significant role.
