Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finalised their divorce less than a month ago. On Saturday, amid the legal proceedings, the estranged couple was spotted arriving at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, LA, for lunch with their kids. While Affleck co-parents Seraphina and Samuel with his first wife, Jennifer Garner have twins Emme and Max with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
According to a Page Six report, the Justice League actor “could not keep his hands off” Lopez. Affleck wanted to meet with his soon-to-be ex-wife at a Beverly Hills hotel to get their pictures taken and show that they are still friends despite their divorce. The pair was having brunch with their kids and was sneakily caught holding hands and kissing. A source told the media outlet, “Once they were together, he could not keep his hands off.”
The insider continued, “They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another. It was Ben Affleck’s idea to meet there. He wanted to show that they are friendly exes. He wanted those photos. You go there when you want to be seen. Paparazzi hang out there.”
Meanwhile, another insider talked about ‘Bennifer’s reunion with the People and revealed that their PDAs at their recent outing did not mean a reconciliation. “They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out.[Jennifer’s] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably,” said the source.
The On The Floor singer filed for divorce from her husband on their second marriage anniversary. According to media reports, J.Lo stated the reason for their split as ‘irreconcilable differences’ and stated April 26 as the date of their separation.
In case you don’t know, Bennifer rekindled their romance in 2021, 17 years after they ended their engagement. They met on the set of their film Gigli and fell in love. Unfortunately, it did not work out between the two of them, and they broke up in 2004. They remained friendly in the decade between. After rekindling their romance in 2021, the duo decided to get married in July 2022. But that did not go well again, and they parted ways.
