Wednesday's episode of Bigg Boss saw Akash Dadlani's shocking eviction from the house. Akash, who hails from Mumbai and has lived most of his life in the US, entered the BB house as a commoner. From entertaining viewers with his rap to creating unnecessary drama inside the house, Akash gave it all to this show.
"I didn't spend time with my family that much, so it was like a family time. I felt like I was in boarding school. So, it was very enjoyable and fun. I'm so happy Gauahar (Khan) tweeted about me. And now, I'm doing a song with Pavni Pandey who's sung Laila Main Laila in Raees," Akash told News18.com just after his elimination from the house.
Right from the start, he got along with Puneesh Sharma and the story of their Bromance took shape. He found a close friend in Arshi Khan and often referred to Shilpa Shinde as his ‘Maa.' However, his acts often created a stir outside. Earlier, a clip of him forcibly kissing Shilpa in one of the episodes went viral on social media. In the video, Shilpa can be seen telling Akash that she doesn't want to talk to him at the moment. "Bahut maar khaayega, thappad khaayega. Mujhe nahi baat karna (You'll get a slap from me, I don't want to talk to you)," she says when Akash forces a kiss on her. Even as she retaliates, Akash continues to provoke her by saying, "Kya karegi, haan. Kya karegi? (what will you do?)."
As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, many Twitter users termed it as sexual harassment. However, Akash says he never had any bad intentions towards Shilpa.
"She used to spank me and hug me. So, I also hugged her back and kissed her a few times. But then it got a little extra and after that, she discussed it with Luv (Tyagi) which she should not have done. She could have told me if she was feeling awkward. I then apologised to her. In fact, I also apologised when I was leaving the house. She's 16 years elder to me and I'm 24, she's 40 so I only look at her as a big sister or mother figure," Akash said.
Akash was often seen telling Shilpa on the show that if she were 25, he would have married her. To this, he said, "I did it in fun. Because every time when she was sad and all, I would say that thing to make her feel nice. Wo hasti thi ye sab sun kar."
When asked who he wants to win the show, Akash said, "I want Puneesh Sharma to win it. He's my brother. But my heart says that Vikas Gupta will win the show. Because he's the mastermind and he played the game very good. He has run the house really well. Plus he has done all the tasks amazingly. He is superb. I'll be happy if one of them wins the show."
