The highly-anticipated reality show Bigg Boss is gearing up for its 18th season. While a teaser released recently has created a buzz among the show’s loyal fans, they are eagerly waiting for the first promo and contestant list. Salman Khan is returning as the host this season and has reportedly shot for the promo. As per the latest reports, the first promo for Bigg Boss 18 will be released this weekend.
According to a report by Times Now the makers are all set to showcase the upcoming season of the Salman Khan-hosted show in a new avatar. A source told the portal, “The set is almost ready. While Salman shot for the promo in a lot of pain as he had a rib injury around that time as he was shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar as well, he has recovered almost fully and is all set to host Bigg Boss 18 in high spirits.”
Meanwhile, a brief teaser for Bigg Boss 18 was shared by the channel recently, promising viewers another thrilling season. The makers revealed the theme for the upcoming season – Time Ka Taandav. In the teaser, Salman Khan can be heard stating, “Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwaloon ka future. Ab hoga time ka taandav (Bigg Boss will see the future of the housemates. It’s now time to witness time’s fury).”
The caption along with the teaser read, “Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18? As far the contestants of Bigg Boss 18 are concerned, several names have come to light. It is reported that actor Nia Sharma has been confirmed as the season’s first contender. A source connected to the show recently told India Today that Nia had been approached several times before but she agreed to join this time. Reports suggest that Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Rithvik Dhanjani, Debchandrima Roy and a few more are expected to appear in Bigg Boss 18, although no official list has been revealed.
