The much-awaited Malayalam film titled Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha is set to grace the cinema halls on May 16. Recently, the makers released the first song Changurichalu from the film. The song, with lyrics penned by Vaisakh Sugunan and vocals by Aloshi Adams, was composed by Dawn Vincent.
Several social media users have showered praise in the comment section. One user wrote, “Great work, all the best". Another user commented, “What a song." A third user added, “Nice transformation throughout the song."
Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra, known for their roles as Sureshan and Sumalatha in Nna Thaan Case Kodu, are set to headline the upcoming film. Additionally, Kunchacko Boban, who portrayed the lead in Nna Thaan Case Kodu, will reprise his role as Kozhummal Rajeevan in this project.
Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha (SSHP) is a spin-off centred around the characters Suresh and Sumalatha from the widely acclaimed Malayalam movie Nna Thaan Case Kodu (NTCK). The film unfolds its narrative across three distinct periods, accompanied by a cast of seasoned actors and stars.
Last year, the shooting for the high-budget movie was completed. Sony Music has acquired the rights to the film’s songs, which were composed by Don Vincent, at a record price. The love story has a total of eight songs.
SSHP, scripted by Ratheesh, is in the works through a partnership between Silver Bay Studios and Silver Bromide Pictures. Sabin Uralikandy assumes the role of cinematographer, while Akash Thomas makes his editing debut. Also onboard are Dawn Vincent as music director, Mafia Sasi as stunt choreographer and Sudheesh Gopinathan, known for his contributions to Madanolsavam, as creative director.
Known for movies such as Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 and Nna Thaan Case Kodu, Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval is gearing up for some new projects. One of them is Alien Aliyan, and he also has an untitled film in the works with Kunchako Boban.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Madhavan rose to fame with films such as Minnal Murali, Nna Thaan Case Kodu, and Kutrachaattu. His most recent movie role was in 18+. Currently, he is lined up to star in several upcoming films, including Her, Grrrr.., and an untitled project featuring Aju Kizhumala and Rajesh Madhavan.
