Allu Arjun has been grabbing headlines lately with the much-awaited teaser release of his upcoming film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The one-minute teaser treats viewers to a vibrant and colourful temple festival scene, where Pushpa Raj is seen donning a saree and wielding a Trishul while engaging in a fierce fight with a group of goons. Amidst the excitement of the teaser’s release, fans and industry colleagues are showering the actor with birthday wishes as he turns 42 on April 8.
Following the teaser’s release, Rashmika Mandanna, who portrays the character of Srivalli in Pushpa, also joined the celebration by extending her birthday wishes to the iconic star. Rashmika Mandanna shared a stylish image of Allu Arjun posing next to a lion statue, possibly from the movie’s set.
While the teaser showcased the Arya actor’s action-packed scenes, Rashmika’s post offers a closer look at Allu’s transformation for his role in the upcoming film. In the Instagram Stories, Allu appears as dashing as ever. He is seen sporting a half-sleeved black shirt paired with cream pants, complemented by chains and a ring on his finger. Additionally, alongside the picture of Allu on his birthday, the actress wrote, “Happiest birthday Pushpa Raj.”
While not much of the plot details have been revealed, in an earlier conversation with Pinkvilla, Rashmika Mandanna spoke about the scale of Pushpa 2 and said, “It’s like, I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is gonna be so much bigger and because we have given some madness with Pushpa 1 as we have, Pushpa 2 is all the way more. We have a lot more responsibility but at the same time we know that people are more very conscious of what they expect of the film and we are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that. I also just came out of a song I was shooting for Pushpa 2 and I was just like how are you guys just thinking about this.”
“Everyone is so driven to make a good film now that people are just going all out, like all of us are going all out and we’re just enjoying the process and I think it a story that never ends, you can make anything of it, you can lead it any which way that you want so it’s fun, it’s like a game, your just trial and error, it’s amazing,” she concluded.
Other than Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 will also feature Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari as Kesava “Mondelu”, Pushpa’s friend Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Sunil, among others.
