Kiara Advani has been roped in as the leading lady for Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film Don 3. Kiara has joined Ranveer Singh in the popular film franchise, which will mark the duo’s first collaboration together. There had been rumours about Kiara joining the cast for a while now, but the makers refrained from commenting on the same earlier.

Though details about Kiara’s role in Don 3 are currently under the wraps, it was recently reported that her character would have “negative shades”. The rumours of Kiara’s addition to Don 3 first sparked in August last year when she was spotted at Excel Entertainment co-founder Ritesh Sidhwani’s office.

Meanwhile, Kiara’s husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra has reacted to the announcement. While he is yet to comment on it, he has liked the post for now. The duo has always had each other’s backs. Recently, when Karan Johar revealed that Yodha has already made history by becoming the first ever Hindi film poster launch at 13,000ft, the actress gave a sweet shoutout to her husband. Kiara shared the poster of his upcoming film on her Instagram stories and wrote, “My favorite(with a ninja emoji)”.

Interestingly, Kiara Advani will also reportedly be seen in another action-packed film, War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The source added, “Until now, Kiara has proved her worth in romantic, intense and comic roles. With Don 3 and War 2, she’ll make a mark in the action genre and thus, emerge as an all rounder actress.”

Meanwhile, the teaser for Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, has also released. It quickly went viral on social media after a long wait. Karan Johar has been sharing new posters to keep fans excited for the big-ticket film.
