Ed Sheeran Recalls Dinner At Shah Rukh Khan's House During His India Tour: 'We Danced, We Sang...'
Ed Sheeran fondly spoke about his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan during his recent concert in Mumbai.

Ed Sheeran was in India last month for the last leg of his Asia tour. Ahead of his performance in Mumbai on March 16, the singer spent some quality time with several Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, and other renowned names from different sectors. But Indian fans were the most happy to see Ed and Shah Rukh Khan together, especially when the former delivered a private concert in Mannat. Speaking about his time with the Bollywood superstar, Ed Sheeran praised the Dunki actor.

In a video that is going viral on X(now Twitter), Ed Sheeran can be seen candidly talking to Gaurav Kapur and Rohit Sharma. He shared, “I met Shah Rukh Khan during my last trip as well. But this trip, I spent a good time with him. So he had me for dinner. And we danced, we sang, we drank. It was good and it was fun. And we recreated his signature pose.”

He added, “From the outside looking in, people see a very, very successful career, the way the general public perceives him. I had a good chat with Shah Rukh Khan about his movies and he had years where those movies didn’t do well. But people don’t remember those years. People remember his good days.”

Earlier, Sheeran had posted a video of himself with Shah Rukh on Instagram. The video featured the duo recreating the Pathaan actor’s signature pose. Accompanying the picture, the singer wrote, “This is the Shape of Us. Spreading love together….”

While on his visit to India, Ed Sheeran also sat down for a chat with India Today where he expressed his profound love for India, calling it a vibrant country. Speaking about what he admires about the country, the singer said, “I really feel the love here, in India. Sometimes you can play in places and people can be very subdued. Like, even if they are feeling the vibe inside them, you can never read how people feel. I have played in certain countries where people have a subdued reaction, but here, in India, it’s a vibrant country. People are so excited! I have the same personality, so I like that.”

Ed Sheeran was in India to perform for the final leg of his +-=/x Tour (Mathematics) at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16. The concert also saw Diljit Dosanjh joining him for his performance.
