Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar says he has a special bond with benches and will ‘always have a bench scene’ in all his movies.
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is currently filming ‘Housefull 3’, tweeted a photograph of the bench, which was used as a prop by Karan in his 2001 film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ for a scene including actors Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
"This bench is missing @iamsrk and @iHrithik - my favourite scene from K3G @karanjohar,” Riteish wrote.
Later Karan shared Riteish's post and wrote: ‘I always have a bench scene in my movies!! I have an obsession for benches.’ To this Riteish replied: ‘Call me when u shoot ur next Bench scene.’
Interestingly, Karan has used bench as a prop in almost all his films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘Student of the Year’.
