Prabhas was last seen in Prashanth Neel's Salaar with Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Actor Prabhas is currently basking in the success of his recently released film, Salaar. Helmed by Prashant Neel, the film turned out to be a blockbuster at the ticket window. The film also garnered massive praise when it was released digitally. While the actor has a series of interesting projects lined up, buzz is that he will be taking a break from acting and will stay away from the limelight for some time.

According to a report from ABP Telugu, Prabhas has chosen to step away from films owing to ill health. The Rebel star is planning to stay away from shoots for at least a month or so. Reportedly, he will be on a break until March to focus on his health. In the past few months, the actor has undergone several health concerns, with some cases even being noticed by fans. Earlier last year, in the month of November, he even underwent knee surgery in Europe.

The report also stated that, after his break, the actor will join back the sets of Raja Saab. Sources close to the Baahubali actor also informed me that Prabhas is ‘looking to spend some time in peace, without being in the limelight,’ and added that he wants to use this time to think and reflect on his career and decide his future course of action.

Apart from Raja Saab, looking ahead, Prabhas also has Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. The film is slated for release in May this year. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring eminent personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. Produced by C. Aswani Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, Kalki 2898 AD has piqued the interest of fans and cinephiles alike.

Speaking of his latest release, Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire, the Prashanth Neel directorial achieved remarkable success at the box office. Co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in significant roles, along with a talented ensemble cast, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. With music composed by Ravi Basrur, the movie, made on a budget of Rs 270 crore, crossed the Rs 705 crore mark, making it the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year and the 11th highest-grossing Indian film overall.

Prabhas’ cinematic journey continues to capture the imagination of audiences, with each appearance and project contributing to his soaring popularity in the Indian film industry.
