Kannada actress Saanya Iyer is rapidly emerging as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Rising to fame with her portrayal in the television serial Mangala Gowri Maduve, also known as Putta Gowri Maduve, she eagerly anticipates her debut film Gowri and recently engaged with News 18 Kannada Digital. Reflecting on her cameo role in the film Gaja, directed by K Madesh, Saanya reminisced about portraying actor Darshan Thoogudeep’s daughter. Despite the brevity of her role, Saanya expressed her delight in being part of Darshan’s illustrious 25-year journey.

Saanya is set to showcase her talent at the Belli Parva-D 25 event scheduled for February 17 in Srirangapatna, Karnataka. The Putta Gowri Maduve actress voiced her excitement for the upcoming event, highlighting her pleasure in participating. Scheduled to commence at 05:00 PM, Saanya is diligently preparing for her performance, currently undergoing training in Bengaluru. Although she did not disclose the song choice for her performance, it is anticipated to be a captivating addition to the event, with Darshan also slated to play a significant role.

Social media buzzed with excitement as Saanya unveiled two posters of her upcoming film Gowri on February 14. Sharing the posters on Instagram, she captioned the images with a message celebrating love as a universal language, extending Valentine’s Day wishes on behalf of the Gowri team. The posters feature Saanya being carried on Samarjit Lankesh’s shoulder, both smiling for the camera, generating considerable interest among the audience for the project. Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the film stars Samarjit Lankesh as the male lead.

In response to Saanya’s post, her followers flooded the comment section with heart emoticons and well wishes for her upcoming film. Shedding light on the film, director Indrajit Lankesh revealed during its mahurat event that Gowri draws inspiration from the late journalist Gauri Lankesh, his sister. Notably, Gauri Lankesh was a courageous journalist tragically shot dead by Parshuram Waghmare, an alleged member of Sri Ram Sene.

As anticipation builds for Gowri, Saanya’s journey in the entertainment industry continues to captivate audiences, promising an engaging cinematic experience.
