Kartik Aaryan Reacts To Manu Bhaker’s Praise For Chandu Champion, Says ‘Moments I Will Always Cherish’
Kartik Aryan, who has been excited about the project since its announcement, celebrated the film’s OTT release with a heartfelt post on Instagram.

Kartik Aaryan has been winning hearts for his performance in Chandu Champion. The film was released on June 14, but it still has been leaving fans impressed. Recently, Olympic winner Manu Bhaker also watched the film and was totally in awe of Kartik Aaryan’s performance. She wrote a long appreciation note for him. And Kartik also reacted to it.

He took to his social handle Instagram stories and wrote, “Wow !!! Thank you @bhakermanu These are the moments I will always cherish, when a real Champion like you showers praise on our labour of love! #ChanduChampion Love and respect for making every Indian proud (red heart and National Flag emoji).” Manu Bhaker wrote, “Finally, the Olympics have ended and I saw #ChanduChampion as soon as I got home and this film turned out much more relatable than I thought. The prep, struggles, failure but never giving up.. Hats off to @kartikaaryan for playing this role so effortlessly. Being an athlete myself, I know it’s not easy… Especially the prep sequence.. You deserve a medal for this !!”

In the caption, the Bollywood star recalled his transformation journey for the movie where he plays Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist. He confessed how several friends doubted whether his sacrifices for the film would be worth it.

Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Story of India’s First Paralympic Gold Winner. When I first embarked on the journey of Chandu Champion to transform into Murlikant Petkar’s Character and physique, many warned me it would be an impossible feat. The sacrifices were immense and some friends even questioned if it would be worth it. My answer then was a resolute yes and that conviction remains unwavering. The outpouring of love, praise and compliments from both the masses and critics fills my heart with immense pride and gratitude. This role was more than just a part for me; it was a profound journey.”

Chandu Champion explores the inspiring life of Murlikant Petkar, a boxer whose life turned upside down after he got paralysed due to an injury during the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War. Despite the severe injuries, Petkar didn’t give up. He recovered and went on to become India’s first Paralympic gold medallist in swimming.
