In the latest episode of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, the stakes continue to rise as the competition intensifies with each new challenge. The show has kept viewers on edge with shocking eliminations, and last night’s episode (September 1) was no exception.
The contestants were paired up for partner stunts, but Shilpa Shinde, who had previously lost her stunt, found herself in the elimination round. Despite her efforts, her performance fell short, leading to disappointment from host Rohit Shetty.
The elimination stunt saw Sumona Chakravarti, Shilpa Shinde, and Karan Veer Mehra facing off. With Sumona lacking a partner, she was automatically placed in the elimination round. Both Sumona and Karan completed the challenging height stunt, with Sumona determinedly declaring, “Mujhe ye stunt karna hai. Agar main ye stunt kar ke ghar bhi gayi, toh khushi hogi.” (I want to do this stunt. Even if I go home afterward, I’ll be happy.) Unfortunately, Shilpa struggled with the task, freezing during the stunt. Despite Rohit Shetty’s encouragement, she couldn’t push herself to finish.
Shilpa began the stunt with confidence, but soon found it difficult to maintain her balance on the bridge. She admitted, “Sir, my legs were trembling. It felt like they weren’t, but they really were.” Rohit Shetty tried to motivate her, saying, “Shilpa, you’re doing well,” but Shilpa replied, “Where, sir? You’re motivating me for no reason. I’m not doing well at all. They’re probably booking my ticket right now.”
As Shilpa battled with the stunt, she ultimately decided to abort. When asked by Rohit Shetty, “What happened, Shilpa?” she apologized, “Sir, I’m really sorry. I guess I’m only fit to go home.” Shilpa also expressed her concern that the platform on the cliff was shaking, to which Rohit, visibly disappointed, responded, “Sabke liye hil raha tha. Iss hafte maine taarif kari thi ki Shilpa kya kamaal rahi hai, disappointed kar diya Shilpa” (It was shaking for everyone. Earlier this week, I praised you, Shilpa, but you’ve let me down).
Just when it seemed Shilpa was headed for elimination, Rohit Shetty surprised everyone with a twist. He pranked Shalin Bhanot by having him reveal a note that read “No elimination.” Rohit then announced that there would be no eliminations this week.
Earlier in the episode, Shilpa had clashed with Abhishek Kumar during a stunt, referring to him as lucky and a fluke winner. However, as the episode wrapped up, Rohit Shetty remarked, “Aap kehte rehte ho Abhishek lucky hai, actually aap sabse lucky ho.” (Shilpa, you often call Abhishek lucky, but you are actually the luckiest contestant).
Meanwhile, the stunt-based reality program has already seen a few notable eliminations, including Aditi Sharma and Aashish Mehrotra. Even Krishna Shroff and Shilpa Shinde were evicted, but they returned as wildcard contestants. The show started on July 27 and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm.
