Kiara Advani FORGETS Kerala While Naming South Indian States in Viral Video, Gets Trolled | Watch

Kiara Advani has drawn criticism after she couldn’t remember all the five South Indian states in a viral video. The actress seen with Ram Charan and Rana Daggubati on the latter’s show, No 1 Yaari. The show premiered last year. Ram and Kiara were the season finale guests. The episode, which aired in 2023, had several special moments. However, today, a Reddit user shared a clip from the episode wherein Rana and Ram quizzed Kiara’s knowledge about South India and asked her to name the South Indian states.

The actress began with Telangana, followed it up with Andhra Pradesh and even succesfully named Karnataka as well. Rana had to prompt her to remember Tamil Nadu. “Where is Tamil from?” Rana asked, helping her guess Tamil Nadu. However, she seemingly forgot to include Kerala. Rana attempted to help her again. “Where is Malayalam from?” Rana and Ram asked. Kiara didn’t know the answer. Ram finally replied, “Kerala.” Kiara said, “Right, right, Kerala. I was about to say it.”

Although an old clip, it has gone viral on Reddit now and many have criticised Kiara for her lack of knowledge. “Gosh SoBo kids be paying so much fees in their posh schools to end up like this lol. Any kid from a tier 2 city CBSE school can name all the states and it’s capitals,” a comment read. “I genuinely don’t know what these kids do during their time studying in some of the best schools in India. Matlab yeh toh government school wala backbencher bhi keh sakta hai (me),” added another. “It’s so depressing to watch this video from South India. How dumb these actresses can be! She cant even name 4 states and Doesnt have a clue on what language being spoken there. Pathetic,” a Reddit user said.

“The lack of knowledge surprises me, and there is nothing cute/silly about it. This is embarrassing, especially when these folks are always travelling. Wouldn’t you learn such things when you visit the region? Gah,” added another. “Utterly embarrassing,” a disappointed user said.

Coincidentally, Kiara has a couple South Indian films in the pipeline. These include Game Changer in Telugu and a rumoured role in the Kannada film Toxic, starring Yash of KGF fame in the lead.
