New Delhi: The young pulse of the entire nation grooved when his ‘Jaguar’ entered the list of chart buster of the year. Punjabi pop star Sukh-e is known for his distinctive beats and lyrics that made him popular at the mere age of 22. Sukh-e, popularly known by his band ‘Muzical Doctorz’, has done songs with ace Punjabi artists like Raftaar and Bohemia.
Originally from a small town in Panjab Sukhdeep Singh learned the nuances of Punjabi rap music by working under various artists from a young age of 17.
Sukh-e has enjoyed his college life in the Chandigarh. According to him, “All through my college life, I had a great inclination towards music. I used to participate in various music competitions and perform in college fests. I had full support from my friends and girlfriend and that gave me the confidence to build a niche for ‘Muzical Doctorz’. I enjoyed by college life in proper ‘punjabi-style’ and that fun is reflected through my songs.”
The hit maker of ‘Snipper’ is a huge fan of British bhangra singer, Jassi Sidhu. He says, “I’ve grown up listening to International Bhangra bands and I love the style of Jassi Sidhu. He brought a very distinctive style of bhangra, when he first came to India. It would be my honor to work with him, someday.” The young Punjabi sensation is currently working on various projects and is all set to swipe the audience from their feet through Bollywood films in near future.
