Lucky Baskhar Trailer Drops: Dulquer Salmaan Plays A Greedy Commoner

The highly anticipated film Lucky Baskhar, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 31. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar is a multi-lingual release in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. The makers have now released the trailer for the upcoming Telugu drama. In the trailer posted on the official YouTube channel of Sithara Entertainment, Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of a commoner in the trailer who is ready to go the extra mile for his family. He essays the role of a bank cashier who gets caught in the web of wealth and greed.

The newly released trailer has significantly elevated expectations for the film, promising to engage audiences. The trailer quickly gained popularity, while many praised the compelling dialogue in the comment section. Along with Dulquer’s performance, Meenakshi’s role adds further intrigue to the film.

Earlier, the makers unveiled the 1-minute 19-second teaser of Lucky Baskhar. The clip introduces us to Bhaskar, a simple-looking man working as a bank cashier. As the teaser unfolds, we learn about his earnings, seemingly in crores with bricks of gold. It suggests that he may be hiding behind the facade of a middle-class man with undisclosed motives.

Recently, Dulquer Salmaan shared about his health issues, which led to a break from acting and delays in the shooting of Lucky Baskhar. During an interview with TV9, the actor stated that he faced some health challenges that affected his ability to take on more projects. Dulquer also expressed his gratitude for the support from the film’s team.

“A huge set was erected for Lucky Baskhar. If I insisted on continuing the shoot, they’d say that they didn’t want to see me in pain. They were so supportive," he said.

With music scored by GV Prakash Kumar, the film has editing by Navin Nooli and cinematography by Nimish Ravi.
