Mahadev Betting App Scam: Sahil Khan To Be Presented In A Mumbai Court This Afternoon | Deets
According to reports, Mumbai Crime Branch officials have arrived at the Mumbai Police Commissioner's office with Sahil Khan.

The Mumbai Police arrested actor and influencer Sahil Khan for his alleged involvement in the Mahadev betting app case. He was apprehended by the Mumbai cyber cell’s Special Investigating Team (SIT) in Chhattisgarh after his plea for pre-arrest bail was rejected by the Bombay High Court. He has been brought to Mumbai via Raipur. According to the police, he was the partner in Lotus App 247.

Sahil, flanked by police personnel, was photographed at the Mumbai airport. He wore a pink blazer over a black shirt. As reporters thronged him for a reaction, he said, “I believe in the judiciary of the country.”

According to reports, Mumbai Crime Branch officials have arrived at the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office with Sahil Khan. Earlier, the SIT team had interrogated Sahil Khan at the premises. Following the completion of the arrest formalities, Sahil Khan will now undergo a medical examination at the GT Hospital. After the medical examination, the actor will be presented in Mumbai’s Holiday Court.

Sahil had earlier said that his contract was for 24 months, with a monthly payment of 3 lakhs for posting promotional videos on his social media. Despite this, the court dismissed his bail plea, citing his direct involvement in the illegal operation. Known for his roles in Style and Excuse Me, Sahil now focuses on fitness, having founded Divine Nutrition, which offers fitness supplements.

Back in 2023, it was reported that the crime branch, conducting an inquiry into the Mahadev betting app case, summoned Sahil Khan and three others to record their statements on December 15. However, Khan did not present himself before the police for investigation and continued to engage on social media during that period. He even posted a picture of himself sitting in a pool with the caption, “Good morning, Jumma Mubarak.” This has drawn attention and criticism as he seemingly ignored the police summons.
