Several reports indicate that Anil Mehta jumped from the building of his Bandra residence while Joyce Polycarp was inside the flat. Despite their divorce, the couple had been living together for the past few years. According to the official statement given by police, “prima facie seemed to be suicide.” An autopsy was conducted at Bhabha Hospital to determine the cause of death.
