Preity Zinta stole the spotlight at the prestigious Paris Couture Week, where she was among the prominent celebrities in attendance. She captivated the audience sitting in the front row of designer Rahul Mishra’s haute couture show, in a white strapless gown from his collection. Expressing her gratitude, Preity Zinta tagged the designer and thanked him for the invitation. She also lauded his exclusive creations showcased at the spectacular event.
Sharing a picture of herself in the stunning gown on Instagram, Preity Zinta wrote, “Making India Proud. Thank you so much, Rahul Mishra, for having me at your couture show in Paris. It was spectacular & I loved every moment of it.” For the event, the actress opted for a white strapless gown from Rahul Mishra’s collection. The outfit featured a plunging neckline and a corseted bodice with structured form. It was adorned with silver and ivory sequin embellishments, floral applique work embroidered on the length, a gathered pattern near the waist and a floor-length asymmetric hem.
Prior to her appearance in Paris, the actress stunned her admirers with exquisite looks at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Preity Zinta presented the Pierre Angenieux Award to acclaimed Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan at the festival. She worked with Santosh Sivan in Dil Se. Her gracious, shimmery white gown and the sequin embellished pink saree at the film festival became the talk of the town.
On the work front, Preity Zinta is slated to make a comeback with Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial, Lahore 1947. The actress wrapped up shooting for the project earlier this month and shared some behind-the-scenes from the set and wrote, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947, & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast and crew for such an incredible experience. I sincerely hope all of you appreciate & enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on.”
The actress will be seen opposite Sunny Deol in the much-anticipated film produced by Aamir Khan. Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol have previously collaborated on multiple films like Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Farz and Bhaiyaji Superhit. The actor made his grand comeback last year with Gadar 2 which became a massive blockbuster at the box office.
