Rajkummar Rao Praises Kareena Kapoor Starrer The Buckingham Murders, Calls It ‘Gripping Thriller’

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently seen in the murder mystery thriller The Buckingham Murders. The film was released on September 13 and has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience. Rajkummar Rao also praised the film and called it a gripping thriller. He shared the posters on his social media.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Rajkummar Rao shared his review and wrote, “Do watch this gripping thriller, running in theatres.” The Buckingham Murders marks Kareena Kapoor and Hansal Mehta’s first collaboration. Additionally, the actress ventured into production with the crime thriller. Besides Kareena, the film also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen in pivotal roles. Premiered at the opening night of the MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai last year, the film was honorured with a standing ovation and applause for its impeccable storyline.

Kapoor and Mehta’s film has opened to Rs 1.62 crore reportedly. As per reports, the film has earned Rs 1.62 crore on its first day. Sacnilk.com had previously given early estimates numbers, which painted a bleak picture for the film. However, this is a significant increase from the early estimate of Rs 37 lakh nett. As per the tracker, The film had an overall occupancy of 6.93% on its opening day. Of its total 1300 shows across the country, the highest were in the NCR region – 366. Mumbai had 237 shows, followed by 213 in Ahmedabad and 72 in Lucknow. Night shows were the most popular among the audiences.
