Pawan Kalyan’s first wife Renu Desai opened up about their divorce recently. The actress was married to the now-Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh for three years before they parted ways in 2012. While Pawan has moved on, having married twice thereafter, fans have no stopped shipping him with Renu. A section of the fans also troll her for her leaving the actor. While Renu had been ignoring the trolls, she decided to shut them down with a confession.
A Pawan Kalyan fan had commented on one of Renu’s Instagram Post, accusing her of not having patience while she was married to the actor. “You should have been more patient, sister-in-law. You misunderstood someone like a god. Perhaps now you realize his worth. But I’m glad the kids are with Pawan Kalyan,” the fan wrote in Telugu, as translated by M9 News.
Renu lost her cool and snapped at the fan. She revealed that it wasn’t she who broke the marriage but it was Pawan who left her. “If you had an ounce of intelligence, you wouldn’t make such a foolish comment. He was the one who left me and remarried, not the other way around. Please refrain from such comments; they only torment me,” she replied.
Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai have two children from the marriage. A son named Akira, who has been by his father’s side for a while now, often showing his support to his political moves and wins, and a daughter named Aadhya, who joined Pawan Kalyan to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year.
The Jana Sena Party leader is now married to Anna Lezhneva. However, Renu decided not to remarry after her split with Pawan. However, she was engaged to someone a few years ago. Last year, speaking about her engagement, Renu said, “I have not spoken anything about that marriage as it is purely my matter. But, I don’t want anyone to misunderstand what happened in my life. So, I want to clear it off. I got engaged in the presence of my family and friends. Aadhya was seven back then. I had to give time to the person I was marrying. After thinking about her and knowing she needed someone to look after her, I called off the marriage.”
