Chiyaan Vikram is set to entertain audiences once again with his role in the highly anticipated film Thangalaan, which is slated for a global release on August 15 in five languages. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s debut, and heartfelt wishes for Vikram are pouring in. Among those sending good vibes is Kantara star Rishab Shetty, who recently met Vikram to convey his best wishes. What makes this meeting even more significant is Rishab’s 24-year-long wait to finally meet his “idol” Vikram.
Chiyaan Vikram was in Bengaluru to promote his film Thangalaan when he met Rishab Shetty. Both the stars were seemingly overjoyed to have spent some quality time together. Rishab did not forget to treat his fans to the pictures from his meeting and dropped a bunch of glimpses on Instagram. Attached to the post was a short yet heartwarming note for the actor wherein he expressed, “In my journey in becoming an actor, Vikram Sir has always been my inspiration. After 24 long years of waiting, meeting my idol today makes me feel like the luckiest person on Earth. Thank you for inspiring actors like me, and wishing you all the best for Thangalaan. Love you, Chiyaan.”
The first picture attached to the post shows both Rishab Shetty and Chiyaan Vikram, posing for an endearing click. It is followed by a candid click featuring the duo as they laughed their hearts out. The final image has the stars clicking a selfie, capturing the joyous moment in a frame. For the meeting, Rishab sported a suave look in a floral relaxed-fit shirt which he teamed up with black cargo pants. Vikram, on the other hand, looked equally handsome in a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
Notably, Chiyaan Vikram is leaving no stone unturned to promote his film Thangalaan. He is doing a multi-city tour and attended the events held in Hyderabad and Chennai for the same. Following the Bengaluru event on August 6, the actor is now headed to Mumbai and Kochi for further promotions.
As for Rishab Shetty, the actor is occupied shooting for the Kantara prequel, which is expected to be released in December 2024. Helmed and headlined by Rishab himself, the project was announced at Amazon Prime Video’s event in Mumbai earlier this year.
