Sai Ketan Rao BREAKS DOWN During Bigg Boss OTT 3 Premiere: 'Never Had a Father Figure'

Bigg Boss OTT 3 is back! The grand premiere of the show was held on Friday night, which was hosted by Anil Kapoor. During the episode, Kapoor introduced contestants of the controversial reality show as they entered the BB house. Among others, television actor Sai Ketan Rao is also participating in Bigg Boss OTT 3. Sai impressd everyone with his rocking performance during the premiere but later broke down into tears while speaking to Anil Kapoor.

Sai got emotional and shared that he isn’t very expressive and often suppresses his emotions. He got teary-eyed and revealed that since his childhood, he acts brave in front of his friends and portray that everything is fine at his home. However, he argued, that it is not the case. “I never had a father figure in my life, so I don’t know what father is. My mother has raised me and I have a sister. I am whatever is because of my mother and I am very thankful of her,” he said.

“I want to hide my emotions, and even in my childhood, I acted, as I often hid my feelings in front of my friends,” the actor added. Sai further shared that he never had a father figure in his life as he also expressed gratitude towards his mother and sister.

Who Is Sai Ketan Rao?

Sai got a breakthrough with the Telugu TV serial, Agni Sakshi in 2017. In the show, he played the role of Prataap, and the audience widely loved his character. Later, Sai also worked in several Telugu films like Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Strangers, Most Eligible Bachelor and others.

In 2021, Sai appeared in the Hindi TV serial Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali as the main lead. His portrayal of Raghav Rao and on-screen chemistry with Shivangi Khedkar impressed the audiences. Post that, Sai Ketan Rao bagged another serial, Chashni in 2023. His Raunaq Babbar was much-loved by fans. But the show, overall, failed to set an impact and it went off-air in just 3 months.

But life had other plans for Sai Ketan Rao. Soon after Chashni got off-air, he bagged another big serial, Imlie. In the show, Rao was seen in a double role of Agasthya Singh Chaudhary and Surya Pratap Reddy. But due to low TRP ratings, Imlie recently got off-air.

Bigg Boss OTT 3 will stream on JioCinema and viewers will be able to watch it every night at 9 pm.
