Sai Ketan Rao Enters Bigg Boss OTT 3: A Look At His Journey From Telugu TV Shows To Imlie

Television actor Sai Ketan Rao has finally entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Hosted by Anil Kapoor, the grand premiere of the controversial reality show was held on Friday (June 21) night. Sai Ketan Rao is known for his roles in television shows like Imlie, Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali and Chashni. However, this is for the first time that the actor will be seen in a reality show. While his fans are excited to witness his Bigg Boss journey; here’s a look at his journey in the world of showbiz:

Sai Ketan Rao Holds An MBA Degree

Born on July 10, 1994, in Maharashtra, Sai Ketan Rao belongs to a middle-class family. He holds an engineering and an MBA degree. After completing his MBA, Rao worked at an Australia-based company but soon realised that the corporate world was not made for him.

When Did Sai Ketan Rao Get His TV Breakthrough? 

Sai got a breakthrough with the Telugu TV serial, Agni Sakshi in 2017. In the show, he played the role of Prataap, and the audience widely loved his character. Later, Sai also worked in several Telugu films like Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Strangers, Most Eligible Bachelor and others.

In 2021, Sai appeared in the Hindi TV serial Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali as the main lead. His portrayal of Raghav Rao and on-screen chemistry with Shivangi Khedkar impressed the audiences. Post that, Sai Ketan Rao bagged another serial, Chashni in 2023. His Raunaq Babbar was much-loved by fans. But the show, overall, failed to set an impact and it went off-air in just 3 months.

But life had other plans for Sai Ketan Rao. Soon after Chashni got off-air, he bagged another big serial, Imlie. In the show, Rao was seen in a double role of Agasthya Singh Chaudhary and Surya Pratap Reddy. But due to low TRP ratings, Imlie recently got off-air.

Now, Sai Ketan Rao is in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house as a contestant. He also enjoys a massive fan following on social media with around 3.5 lakh followers on Instagram.
