Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged last week. The couple engaged rings at an intimate ceremony which was reportedly held at Nagarjuna’s house in Hyderabad. The ceremony was attended by only family members. Following the engagement ceremony, Samanta Dhulipala shared heartwarming photos of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita. Taking to Instagram, Sobhita’s sister showered the couple with love.
In the photos, Samanta was seen posing with her and Sobhita’s parents and Naga Chaitanya’s parents along with a sweet caption. In the first photo, Naga Chaitanya posed with his in-laws, Sobhita’s side of the family. In the second, the couple shared a candid moment with the whole family. Sharing the photos, Samanta wrote, “To forever 2022 – ♾️.”
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna said that Sobhita’s parents love Naga Chaitanya. Speaking with Times Now, the Telugu superstar said, “They really like Chay. Can’t blame them. My son is a gem of a boy. He deserves happiness. I am very proud that both my sons have turned out to be fine men.”
Speaking about the couple’s wedding plans, the actor added, “Not immediately. We chose to have a hurried engagement because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Sobhita are very sure that they want to marry, we said, Let’s do it. Sobhita’s parents and sister. Chay’s mother was there, of course. My wife, Amala, was there. That’s it.”

In May 2022, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita were first spotted together in Hyderabad. Sobhita was in the city to promote her film Major. Reports suggested that the actress was not only promoting the film in the city at the time but also ended up ringing in her birthday, which took place on May 31. Naga Chaitanya was a part of the celebrations. That’s when they clicked and instantly became friends. Their friendship grew stronger and eventually, they started dating.
