In a rare sight, Shah Rukh Khan and Sandeep Reddy Vanga were seen seated together at an event. The actor and the filmmaker were seen attending the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024. A photo from the event has revealed that Shah Rukh was seated beside Sandeep and Rani Mukherji. In the photo, SRK and Sandeep were seen sharing a laugh at the host’s jokes. The photo found its way to X, previously known as Twitter, and shared their reactions.

Sandeep said earlier this month that he wants to work with Shah Rukh some day. Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said while he has met the superstar twice, they haven’t spoken about any collaborations yet. “I want to work with Shah Rukh Khan sir. Every hero ke liye kuch na kuch idea rahega. In Hindi, I definitely want to work with Shah Rukh sir, Ranveer Singh,” he said.
Sandeep added, “We did not speak about it (Sandeep’s films). He saw the teaser, he liked the teaser. I showed him the teaser in the office, he had come during Ganpati.”
Meanwhile, both the stars won awards at the ceremony. Shah Rukh was presented the Best Actor award for his performance in Jawan whereas Sandeep Reddy Vanga was given the Best Director award for his work in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Check out the complete winners list here.
