Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Kushi. The romantic drama also starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. The film gained mixed reviews from all and earned over Rs 70 crore at the box office. Next, Samantha will be seen in the Indian version of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan. It is helmed by Raj and DK and the team is staying tight-lipped about its plot. However, earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra opened up about the Indian remake of her show and revealed that the storylines are connected to each other.
Besides this, Samantha also has Bangaram in her pipeline. Earlier this year, Samantha gave a surprise to her fans on her birthday when she shared the poster of her film. The initial glimpse of the film depicted Samantha in a fierce stance, clutching a double-barrel gun and showcasing a bloody visage.
