Sharmin Segal Says Heeramandi Co-star Aditi Rao Hydari Taught Her 'How To Be Kind': 'She Is Very...'

Heeramandi star Sharmin Segal was all praised for Aditi Rao Hydari just weeks after she called her a ‘school girl’. In a new interview, Sharmin was asked about her Heeramandi co-stars and when Aditi’s name was taken. The actress said Aditi is a kind person and even taught her how to be kind.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sharmin was asked who was the most caring one on set. Taking Aditi’s name, Sharmin said, “I learnt how to be kind. She is very kind. She is very sweet. She is also very motherly… towards me. Very sweet. How to be graceful also because Aditi is also very graceful.”

The statement came days after Sharmin called Aditi a ‘school girl’ for being punctual on sets. In a clip gone viral last month, Sharmin said, “Aditi is a good school girl, please understand that. Teacher will say you have to submit your home work at this time and Aditi will do exactly that and not one more word than the word count limit. That is Aditi for you. So, according to her everyone is late and she is on time.” The actress was criticised for her behaviour.

Sharmin was also criticised for her performance in the show. Addressing the online trolling she was subjected to and she told News18 Showsha exclusively, “I had given my all to Alamzeb’s character. We tend to fixate on the negatives but there are so many positives that have also come along, which we don’t talk about. It’s perhaps not interesting enough to talk about positives and we tend to look over them to some degree.”

“There was a point when I was not looking at many things [reviews] but then slowly, I realised that I was also missing out on a lot of love that I was getting. I’ve now started paying attention to that. Over the last few days, I decided to look through it all. The audience’s opinion is what will probably help you be the best version of yourself,” she added.
