Shruti Haasan Shares Glimpses Of 38th Birthday Bash With Boyfriend Santanu Hazarika

Shruti Haasan is riding high on the commercial success of her most recently released film Salaar. The movie became the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year and her performance was appreciated though she had limited screen time. The actress recently celebrated her 38th birthday on January 28. And it was not just any normal celebration. The birthday bash had a gothic theme. Gothic describes something that is characterised by mystery, horror and gloom Hence, it was a no-brainer that Shruti twinned with her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika in black attire.

Not just them, but the guests were all dressed in black, matching with the theme. But what attracted the most attention was the cake that had skull motifs on it as part of the decoration. The walls were also decorated with black feathers and occult murals to add to the gothic factor. The video also shows the actress unwrapping the presents that she was gifted.

The birthday girl was accompanied by her mother Sarika, sister Akshara Haasan, and boyfriend and artist Santanu Hazarika. Sharing the video, Shruti Haasan said, “Birthday dump. The best one is with the ones I love. Sober girls eat cake. All love no hate. Getting wise to BS. Thankful and stay blessed.” Like a doting boyfriend, Santanu had the most adorable response to the video, calling his ladylove the glue that holds everyone together.

Late last year, socialite Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, asserted that Shruti Haasan was already wed to Santanu. Shruti dispelled the speculations by writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, “So, I’m not married,” Why would I hide something like this as someone who has been transparent about everything? Thus, kindly, those who know nothing about me, quiet down.”

Shruti Haasan is scheduled to star in Chennai Story. BAFTA-winning director Philip John is directing the Indo-UK co-production. According to a press release, the movie tackles ideas of love, self-expression and acceptance and is based on the best-selling book The Arrangements of Love by Timeri N Murari.
