Soha Ali Khan Conducts 'House Election' To Ensure If Everyone In Family Is Happy
To ensure that her family members and house helps were content, Soha Ali Khan conducted a fun “house election”.

The phase 5 of Lok Sabha elections kicked off today, May 20. Across six states, voters from 40 constituencies and 2 Union Territories, have exercised their rights. Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor and Ananya Panday among others were spotted flashing their inked index fingers after executing the national duty. Soha Ali Khan and husband Kunal Kemmu were also spotted at a polling booth in Mumbai. But did you know the actress also engaged in a fun “house election” with her family members and house helps?

Sharing the light-hearted voting results on her Instagram Stories, Soha Ali Khan wrote, “We had our own house election to see everyone is happy with the way things are.” The picture featured the names of the actress, her husband-actor Kunal Kemmu, their daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, and three other individuals — Suraj, Sandesh and Saina on white paper. There were a few chits displayed on the table too, underlining that the Tum Mile actress was the clear winner, awarded with the highest number of votes. While Soha received three votes, Kunal got one and their 6-year-old was given two.

Soha Ali Khan recently shared a picture on Instagram where she displayed her inked index finger after casting her vote for the Lok Sabha elections. “The only exercise I’m doing today is exercising my right to vote. Your vote is your voice and your voice matters,” she wrote in the caption. The actress was dressed in a bright blue and white embroidered kurta. Black sunglasses were tucked upon the crown of her head and her tresses were tied in a half-tied hairdo.

Kunal Kemmu also dropped a photograph on his Instagram handle, flaunting his inked-drawn index finger. Dressed in a lime yellow T-shirt, silver chain and an uber-cool cap, he flashed a subtle smile for the click. In the following slide, the Kalyug actor shared the same frame with his family members. Urging the masses to vote, he captioned, “Hoping you all went out and voted too.”

The Lok Sabha elections were conducted in six important Mumbai seats namely North, North West, East, Central, South and South Central.
