Sonakshi Sinha is all set to feature in a horror comedy film Kakuda film. The makers have released the trailer and it looks impressive. Well, the film will be released on July 5 and also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. The horror film can be watched on Zee 5. Today, Sonakshi’s husband Zaheer Iqbal took to his social handle and praised the trailer.
He shared the trailer on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Mere biwi ko daraana mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai. Well done Kakuda.” The movie will mark the Hindi directorial debut of filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar, known for critically-acclaimed Marathi films Classmates, Mauli and Faster Fene. “Kakuda” explores the legend of a strange curse in a village stuck in time and how three people are confronted with a challenging ghost who makes them question superstition, tradition and love in a rollercoaster ride filled with fear and fun.

The trailer begins by introducing a village of Ratodi which is cursed. Each house in the village has two doors: one big and one small. The smaller door is for a ghost named Kakuda. Saqib and Sonakshi love each other and got married. However, their love story takes a surprising turn when they encounter a curse from Kakuda. On their wedding night, at 7:15 pm, Sunny forgot to open the small door for Kakuda. The ghost is known for placing a curse on the head of the household as a punishment. With Sunny’s life in danger, Sonakshi seeks help from Victor, an intriguing ghost hunter played by Riteish.
Coming to Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, they tied the knot on June 23. The couple hosted an intimate ceremony at the former’s Bandra residence. After their wedding, Sonakshi shared beautiful photos on social media and penned a long note. “Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for If this is not divine intervention… we don’t know what is We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us,” she wrote.
