Farah Khan hosted a star-studded dinner where her former Indian Idol judges Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam jammed together.

Director Farah Khan threw a party last night where her friends, music director Anu Malik and singer Sonu Nigam, had an impromptu music session. Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik, and Farah Khan were judges on the first season of Indian Idol from 2004 to 2005. During the party, Sonu and Anu sang ‘Dekh lo idhar toh aik baar main hoon na’ from Farah Khan’s movie ‘Main Hoon Na’.

A video from the party showed legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar sitting between Sonu and Anu. Farah then captured all her friends in the video, including Huma Qureshi, Manushi Chhillar, actor Siddarth, Dipika Kakar and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim, Farah’s brother Sajid Khan, Rajkummar Rao with his wife, and actress Patralekhaa. Music director Salim was also present as they enjoyed Sonu and Anu’s musical performance. Farah herself made a surprise appearance at the end of the video.

Farah mentioned that the dinner was initially planned for four people but turned into a gathering with all her friends showing up, making the evening delightful. She expressed her joy for such impromptu get-togethers. She wrote the caption, “Impromptu get-togetherness is the best! When you plan a dinner for 4, all your friends turn up, and some unexpected ones too #aboutlastnight #friends.”

Farah has recently launched her YouTube channel, showcasing her cooking skills, with the first dish being her famous Yakhni Pulao. Fans were delighted to witness legends singing at Farah Khan’s house.

TV actors Dipika and Shoaib have become close friends with Farah after Dipika participated in the last season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, where Farah was one of the judges. Farah Khan’s close friend, former tennis player Sania Mirza, also commented on the video, calling it a gathering of stars.

Farah Khan was last seen as a judge on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11’, with Manisha Rani emerging as the winner. Interestingly, Farah Khan’s directorial debut film, ‘Main Hoon Na’, will celebrate its 20th anniversary on April 30. Released in 2004, ‘Main Hoon Na’ marked the debut of her production house Red Chillies Entertainment and was a huge success, leading to collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Happy New Year’.
