Siju Wilson starrer Panchavalsara Padhathi is getting lauded by a legendary name of the Malayalam film industry, Sreenivasan. The actor-filmmaker had nothing but praise and positivity for the film and the makers.
Panchavalsara Padhathi is made under the direction of Premlal, a good friend of actor Sreenivasan, who is also his mentor. As per reports, Sreenivasan expressed his approval of the film saying that it is very “socially relevant” and should be watched by every Malayali.
According to the makers of the film, Panchavalsara Padhathi is getting a tremendous response from the audience, houseful shows are being reported and the other shows are filling up fast on the pre-weekend days.
The story of the film is about a man named Sanoj (played by Siju Wilson) who owns an Akshaya Centre in the village of Kalamberi. An unexpected occurrence happens in the village when the locals start to encounter Kalambasura, a village legend, in their visions. The film then follows the incidents that ensue after its appearance.
Directed by Premlal, the film’s story is penned by Sajeev Pazhoor. The cast of the film includes Siju Wilson, Sudheesh, Nisha Sarang, Harish Pengan, Sibi Thomas, Jolly Chirayath, and Krishnendu A Menon, among others. It is produced by KG Anilkumar under the banner of Kichchapoos Entertainments, while Shaan Rahman has given the music on the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahammed. The cinematography is handled by Alby and the editor is Kiran Das. The film was released on April 26, 2024.
Premlal and Sreenivasan have previously worked in films like Aathmakatha and Outsider. Aathmakatha was released in 2010, where Sreenivasan was seen with Shafna, Sharbani Mukherjee, Jagathy Sreekumar and more. It is produced by Santhosh Pavithram, Shafeer Sait and Vidya Santhosh under the banner of Pavithram Creations.
Outsider was released in 2012. The cast of the film includes Sreenivasan, Indrajith, Ganga Babu and Pasupathy. It is produced by Gireesh under the banner of Gowry Meenakshi Movies and Sangeeth is the music producer.
