Tanvi The Great: Anupam Kher Welcomes Jawan Actor Sunil Rodrigues

Anupam Kher is poised to make his directorial comeback with his next project Tanvi The Great after a long hiatus of 22 years. Earlier, the veteran actor announced that lyricist Kausar Munir and Japanese cinematographer Keiko Nakahara have joined the film to contribute with lyrics and director of photography respectively. In a recent development, Sunil Rodrigues, the action director popular for films like Jawan, Pathaan, and Sooryavanshi, has also come on board for Kher’s upcoming directorial.

Introducing Rodrigues as the action director of Tanvi The Great, Kher posted a reel on his Instagram handle. The short clip featured a few snapshots of him alongside the new addition to the film’s cast and crew. Attached to the clip was a heartwarming caption that read, “ANNOUNCEMENT: Delighted and Proud to introduce the #ActionDirector of my directorial film #TanviTheGreat Mr. #SunilRodrigues. Rod, as he is popularly known is one of the most dynamic, scientific and charismatic action man in our industry.”

That’s not all. He also lauded the action director for his impeccable art of storytelling in his caption. The Kashmir Files actor further remarked, “He may look tough and overpowering but he is the gentlest person on the set. He also is a great storyteller! The Jawan action director is all excited to collaborate with Kher. Expressing his gratitude to be a part of the film, Rodrigues reshared the actor’s post on his social media handle and wrote, “Thank you, sir. It was an honour to work with you on this wonderful piece of art you’re directing.”

Besides his directorial project, Anupam Kher is geared up to entertain his fans with his acting prowess in the film Vijay 69. Produced by YRF Entertainment and directed by Akshay Roy, the film traces the journey of an elderly man who takes a courageous step to participate in a triathlon competition at the age of 69.
