Tom Hanks uses his 10.4 million Twitter followers to help a student find college ID

New York: Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks turned good Samaritan by tweeting about a woman, whose lost student ID card he found in a park.

Hanks, 59, posted the picture of the card, which belongs to Laurent but he covered her last name with his thumb.

"Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx," the actor tweeted alongside the picture.

The actor had received similar kindness from a stranger when someone returned his credit card in March after finding it on the street in NYC. Hanks had taken to Twitter to thank the guy.
