Urfi Javed Claims Harassment By 15-Year-Old In Mumbai: 'He Did That In Front of My Mother'
Previously, in an interview, Urfi Javed lashed out at those filing complaints against her and mentioned that she feels unsafe.

Urfi Javed has claimed that she was harassed by a 15-year-old in Mumbai recently. On Wednesday, the social media sensation took to her Instagram stories to share a disturbing incident where a boy harassed her in public, asking, “What’s your body count?” The actress claimed that the incident occurred while she was being photographed, in front of her family. Urfi’s allegation has raised concerns about the behaviour of young teens and the safety of public figures in India.

“Yesterday something extremely uncomfortable happened with me and my family, a group of guys were passing by while I was getting papped, a guy shouted at me ‘Whats your body count’ infront of everyone. The boy was hardly 15 years old. He did that in front of my mother and my family!” Urfi wrote.

This is not the first time that Urfi Javed faced such a situation. The actress often makes headlines, for all the wrong reasons, for her sartorial choices. In December 2022, a man in Mumbai was also arrested for allegedly sending rape and life threats to television actress Urfi Javed. He was identified as Naveen Giri and was booked under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment), 354(D) (stalking), 509, 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and IT Act.

Previously, in an interview, Urfi lashed out at those filing complaints against her and mentioned that she feels unsafe. However, she also defended her choice of outfits and admitted that she is ‘doing it for attention’. “This industry is all about getting popularity and getting attention, so what is wrong with it then?” she told E-Times.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Urfi Javed’s Follow Kar Lo Yaar was recently released on Prime Video. The nine-episode series is produced by Sol Productions’ Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes and directed by Sandeep Kukreja. It has been described as “an unfiltered and immersive viewpoint into the vibrant and captivating life of Javed, India’s biggest viral sensation”.
