Uttarakaanda Star Daali Dhananjaya Visits Lord Anjaneya Temple Ahead Of The Film’s Shoot
The actor visited the Lord Anjaneya temple with the film’s director Rohit Padaki and producer Karthik Gowda, on March 28.

South star Daali Dhananjaya is set to start working on his upcoming, titled Uttarakaanda. As per the latest updates, the Kannada actor visited the Temple of Lord Anjaneya in Dharwad ahead of the film’s shoot.

Ahead of the commencement of Uttarakaanda’s shoot, the film’s lead, Daali Dhananjaya, paid a visit to the Temple of Lord Anjaneya or Hanumanthappa, located in Madikeri, Dharwad. The actor visited the holy site to get the blessings of Lord Anjaneya before he started the shoot of his upcoming film in a few days.

As per reports, the film’s director, Rohit Padaki and the producer, Karthik Gowda, also came to the place for blessings. The Uttarakaanada makers visited Lord Hanumanthappa’s place on March 28.

Director Rohit Padaki is showcasing a gangster drama set in North Karnataka in the film Uttarakaanada, hence the title. As per the reports, the film’s auditions took place in Vijayapura and Hubbali on March 27 and March 28, respectively. The shooting of the film is expected to start in April.

Initially, actress Ramya was cast as the female lead in the film but she opted out of the project, as per the latest updates. The actress took to her official social media handle to announce her decision to depart from the film. According to her, she decided due to ‘unavailability of dates.’ Furthermore, she wished the makers the best for the release.

Uttarakaanada is being helmed by the directors Sharath Manjunath and Rohith Padaki. The film’s cast includes Dhananjaya, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and Atul Kulkarni in important roles. Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj are producing the film under the banner of KRG Studios. Charan Raj is composing the music, while Advaitha Gurumurthy is doing the cinematography.

The lead Daali Dhananjaya was last seen in the film Thothapuri: Chapter 2. Some of his upcoming works include films like Zebra, Pushpa 2: The Rule and Anna From Mexico.
