Vedaa: Sharvari Wagh Drops New Poster From Film, Expresses Gratitude To John Abraham's Character
Sharvari Wagh and John Abraham's Vedaa is all set to release on August 15.

Sharvari Wagh has been grabbing headlines for her performance in the horror comedy Munjiya. The film has been shattering all records at the box office. . Well, soon she will be sharing screen space with John Abraham for a one of a kind action entertainer Vedaa. On the occassion of Guru Purnima, the actress penned a gratitude note for John’s character and also dropped new poster from the film.

Sharing the poster, Sharvari wrote, “Abhimanyu Sir, Mhaari duniya mein aap ek akele aise insaan ho jisne kabhi-koi fark nahin kiya. Guru ho aap mere jisne mhaara saath diya, ladna sikhaya, duniya ki riti-niti, sahi-galat sikha ke ek fighter banaya. Anyaay sehna nahin, balki anyaay ke khilaaf jung karne ka raasta aapne dikhaya. Aap prerna ho mhaari, aur mere jaise kayi Vedaa ki! Aaj Guru Purnima ke din, vada hai yeh Fighter Vedaa ka aapse, ki yeh jung jo anyaay ke khilaaf chhedi hai maine aakhir tak ladugi bhi aur jeetugi bhi. Aapki Shishya, Vedaa.”

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the Vedaa is scheduled to release in theatres on August 15. The teaser offers a glimpse into the intense fighting scene between John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee. While Sharvari Wagh looks unrecognisable in this electrifying cinematic experience.

Back in March, John shared the teaser on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Jhagadna nahi aata mujhe, sirf jung ladni aati hai! #VedaaTeaserOutNowâ€æReleasing in cinemas on 12th July (sic).” The teaser shows John Abraham takes on the role of the protagonist who is pitted against Abhishek Banerjee. The teaser offers a preview of their clash. Abhishek Banerjee is playing the role of a politician, hinting at complex power dynamics and gripping plot twists. Tamannaah Bhatia will also be seen in a crucial role.

Expressing excitement, Nikkhil Advani had earlier shared, “Vedaa is not just a film. It’s inspired from real events and is a reflection of our society and pushes the boundaries of reality. Working with John, Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee has been an incredible experience and I’m glad to finally announce the release date and fingers crossed the audiences gets moved the way we all did when we first heard the story of Vedaa.”
