Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal, who have both had a terrific 2018, are soon becoming Bollywood’s most sought after duo.
After making their coffee debut together on the celeb chat show Koffee with Karan, the two have now featured on the cover of Garzia’s December edition.
Vicky took to Instagram on Monday to share the cover. “Chilling on the December cover of @graziaindia with my ‘Dream Girl’ @ayushmannk,” he captioned it.
In the picture shot by Marie Baersch, Vicky looks dapper in a mustard Massimo Dutti sweater, green Pawan Sachdeva blazer and striped Missoni trousers. Ayushmann, meanwhile, sports a printed Shivan & Narresh shirt, and camel-coloured Philocaly jacket and trousers.
Both the actors are currently basking in the praise for their recent performances. Ayushmann has delivered two back-to-back hits, first as a pianist pretending to be blind in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Andhdhun and then as a grown-up son dealing with the accidental pregnancy of his ageing parents in Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho.
With three releases this year, Vicky too has established himself as an actor par excellence. His earnest performances as the best friend of a troubled film star in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, the husband of an undercover spy in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi and an indecisive lover in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan have all been well received.
He will next be seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike, which is slated to release on January 11, 2019. Ayushmann, meanwhile, just announced his next project—Dream Girl—in which he will star opposite Nushrat Bharucha.
