Watch: Sabrina Carpenter Runs Away From Stage After Sudden Fireworks Onstage
During her performance at the Golden Gate Park stage, Sabrina Carpenter got scared after the fireworks went off on the stage.

In a quite scary way, Sabrina Carpenter got spooked during her recent California concert over the weekend. The Espresso singer was performing onstage in front of a packed audience at the Outside Lands music festival. It was then the fireworks started going off behind her, leaving her frightened briefly. In videos surfacing on the internet, the pop star could be seen screaming and quickly jumping down from the platform as she looked back at the flares.

Eventually, she ran backstage safely without any harm.

Notably, it was during her performance at the festival when the pyrotechnics went off behind her, making her startle and jump forward. “Oh my God!” she could be heard yelling as she continued running away from the fireworks on the Golden Gate Park stage. Her backdancers also followed her behind. Despite the halt, Sabrina’s show went on without any disturbance, and she was able to move past it to fondly reflect on her performance.

“Thank you to everyone who came. A special thank you to the angel that is @spaceykacey for coming out to sing and dance to Nancy Sinatra with me :’) and thank you to my whole team and crew. all the talented people who made this show happen on and off stage, i love you all so much,” she wrote on Instagram.

Her show also featured a special appearance from Kacy Musgraves as the duo sang These Boots Are Made For Walkin. Both singers rocked sparkling mini dresses, looking stunning as they hit the 1966 song.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Upcoming Album

Sabrina has her much-awaited Short n’ Sweet album slated for release on August 23. Featuring her hit singles like Espresso and Please Please Please, the album was announced earlier this year.

“I’m so happy I finished this album before any of the songs came out. I really do think sometimes you can’t help but write from a different perspective after experiencing certain life events. I’m trying to avoid calling this ‘my dream album,’ because I don’t think I would have been able to dream up this set of songs a couple years ago,” she told Variety in an interview.
